Enigmia obtains ISO 27001:2022 certification with support from the Junta de Extremadura and FEDER

Enigmia has developed a project for the implementation and certification of an Information Security Management System (ISMS) in accordance with the international standard ISO 27001:2022, within the framework of the CONSOLIDAPYME Program and with the financial support of the Regional Government of Extremadura and the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund (FEDER).

The main objective of this initiative has been to strengthen the security of the information managed by the company and establish a systematic framework for identifying, assessing, addressing, and monitoring risks that could affect its confidentiality, integrity, and availability. Implementing the ISMS allows for the integration of information security into the organization's processes and establishes control, monitoring and continuous improvement mechanisms.

The project has included, firstly, the work necessary for the implementation of the management system in accordance with ISO 27001:2022. The actions carried out include the analysis and evaluation of risks, the definition and review of policies and procedures, the implementation of security controls, the preparation of the documentation associated with the system and the preparation of the organization for the certification audit process.

Subsequently, a certification audit was carried out by a certifying body to verify compliance with the standard's requirements and the correct application of the implemented system. As a result of the project, Enigmia has obtained ISO 27001:2022 certification for information systems that support qualitative analysis using Artificial Intelligence and Big Data, in accordance with the current statement of applicability.

Obtaining this certification represents an improvement in the organizational and technological maturity of Enigmia, It strengthens risk management and internal security procedures and contributes to increasing the confidence of customers, employees and other stakeholders in the responsible and secure management of information.
